Our US-based quantitative investment and hedge fund partner is seeking a Senior DevOps engineer to join their team. The company is looking to produce high-quality forecasting (alpha) through its proprietary research platform, which forms the basis of its financial strategy and balanced global investment platform.

Project: The company is developing a research platform utilising deep learning models. 

The Role: That works on a complex distributed architecture, spanning physical machines and virtualising on-prem host/cloud computing. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage complexity and tackle problems across multiple stack layers as part of a small team that champions operational excellence.

What You’ll Bring 

• Experience with the Linux operating system internals, performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of network stack and ability to troubleshoot complex connectivity issues.
• Experience with CI/CD/SDLC technology
• Experience wih Kubernetes, Docker or similar virtualisation technologies
• Understanding of Distributed Telemetry frameworks
• Scripting skills ideally with Python or Go
• In depth SQL experience
