We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Revenue Accountant for our international partner located in Budapest. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a global finance team, handling end-to-end revenue accounting processes across several countries while ensuring full compliance with US GAAP standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and validate revenue cut-offs for various streams including product sales, services, and equipment installations
• Analyze and maintain reserves related to revenue
• Review lease-type agreements to ensure compliance with accounting regulations for rentals and bundled offerings
• Evaluate sales agreements to confirm no revenue recognition adjustments are necessary
• Oversee royalty agreements across regions, ensuring correct accruals, timely payments, and alignment with legal and marketing stakeholders
• Manage commission-based contracts with distributors, particularly across EMEA, ensuring proper documentation and financial processing
• Support monthly and quarterly reporting processes and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks and audit requirements (internal and external)

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA certification is a plus
• Professional fluency in English
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably with direct involvement in revenue-related tasks
• Experience reviewing customer contracts and identifying revenue-related obligations is advantageous
• Strong Excel skills 
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with various business stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and juggling multiple priorities
