We are looking for a Credit and Collection Specialist colleague to join our international partner's team in Budapest, who would like to participate in exciting process development and transition projects.

In this role you will be responsible for analyzing credit data and applications, customer creditworthiness and financial statements of the company to make informed decisions on whether to grant credit.

What tasks can you expect on a daily basis?

• Lead the comprehensive review and analyses of credit exposures
• Performs credit-worthiness reviews on new and existing accounts
• Manages credit limits and terms and communicates these to all parties involved
• Negotiate payment arrangements, monitoring customer accounts for delinquencies or potential fraud, maintaining up to date customers records
• Support stakeholders in identifying interconnections and opportunities for improvement, driving collaborative solutions
• Actively manage and communicate project goals, issues, deadlines, and other key information to stakeholders and project team members
• Communicate, handle, and escalate issues as necessary 

Requirements:

• Proficiency in English
• Bachelor’s degree in economics (preferably in accounting)
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards (US GAAP/IFRS)
• At least 5 years of experience in a Credit and Collection role
• Highly organized with an attention to detail, being accurate and precise in maintaining all credit data and communication
• Proficiency in ERP systems
• Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to present infromation to them
• Project management experience would be a huge plus
