An exceptional opportunity awaits you to join an international production company's new greenfield operation as a Chief Accountant. In this pivotal role, you will be entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities that are crucial to the financial success of the company. Your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:

• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks in the Oracle system (travel expenses, bank transactions, invoice processing, etc.), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and verify monthly and annual tax and statistical data in accordance with Hungarian accounting standards, ensuring alignment with accounting records for tax filings.
• Reconcile bank accounts monthly and prepare bank balance reconciliation statements, tracking and alerting any unreconciled transactions.
• Oversee the management of accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely reconciliation.
• Support the implementation and operation of the company’s ERP system, particularly the financial modules.
• Communicate with external accountants, auditors, and tax authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Contribute to the development and optimization of accounting policies, reporting systems, and internal controls.
• Support the Finance Manager and keep contact with other departments

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or related fields
• Chartered Accountant registration is a must
• Relevant work experience, preferably at a manufacturing company or at an accounting firm
• Fluent English
• Oracle or another ERP knowledge
