Our international banking partner is looking for an experienced Data Protection Officer to join their Legal and Compliance team. The organisation is constantly developing and expanding their team.
The area is currently a high priority and this is a professionally motivating opportunity where you will have the possibility to be extensively involved in the processes, actively working on joint projects with the international team. Therefore, in addition to relevant experience in the field, an active knowledge of English is essential for this position.
What tasks can the future colleague expect:
- Participate in the development and enforcement of policies in the field within the organisation
- Keeping track of local and international regulatory changes, keeping up to date with internal data protection rules
- Liaise with external authorities, participate in audit and procedural processes
- Regularly reviews and audits data protection compliance
- Provide expert advice to partner departments and management on issues related to own area
- Actively involved in managing conflicts of interest, disclosure of inside information, transactions, confidentiality and other sensitive information
- Contributes to training and organisational development on data protection and other compliance issues
What you need to fill the position:
- Relevant university degree (law or related finance)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the field
- Experience in data protection matters, knowledge of data protection regulations and practices
- Active knowledge of English
- Open, communicative personality, good problem solving skills
