Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee the general ledger process for various countries or operational units.
· Manage the team's operations, plan and monitor workload, and motivate team members.
· Foster a collaborative working environment and drive change management initiatives.
· Play a key role in transitioning accounting processes to our new center in Budapest.
· Lead and participate in projects aimed at process optimization.
· Engage in day-to-day operations and support periodical closing processes.
· Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure adherence to service levels.
· Identify and resolve process-related issues and ensure compliance with policies.
· Actively participate in internal and external audits.
Your Profile:
· Minimum of 5 years in general ledger roles
· College or university degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
· Advanced English proficiency; additional European languages are a huge plus.
· Strong understanding of GL processes and solid knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
· Experience with process improvement and automation projects.
· Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI, SQL, or Tableau is advantageous.
