Responsibilities:

The job holder will be primarily responsible to ensure that all existing retail processes hosted in GSD (fuels, cards…) are operational after transformation, relevant operational teams working in GSD on any retail related processes are informed about the project and the upcoming changes.

 

  • Support GSD architect with operational expertise on Retail processes managed in SAP
  • Provide input into the final process design
  • Validate any new flows from BOS (back-office system), POS (point of sale) to GSD, provide support to Technical Teams about data available in GSD and essential for the operational teams
  • Work on the new ways of working where change cannot be avoided
  • Review and analyze complex data to identify issues and trends. May conduct root causes analysis.
  • First point of escalations
  • Apply continuous Improvement methodology to improve and streamline work processes.
  • Assist related calls, workshops, connect with relevant teams, stakeholders.
  • Chair meetings, coordinate GSD related discussions with support teams.
  • Provide coaching and professional support to the team members
  • Perform daily operations related reporting and controlling tasks.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a shared service center environment
  • Proficiency in SAP
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the end-to-end Procurement flow, Accounts Payable area.
  • Complex understanding of data flows and macro processes of the UK Retail Business
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Experience in project management, ease to use collaborative tools, follow dashboards, prepare presentations, analyze reports
  • High Level of IT proficiency in Microsoft packages
  • Strong written/oral communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships
  • Able to prioritize, handle issues and situations, following through to resolution in a timely manner and focusing efforts to deliver business value, escalating properly if needed
