About the role
We are seeking an Application Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting internal systems related to crew accommodation bookings, billing, and integration with SAP for invoicing and payment processing. As a critical member of the team, you will assist with ensuring the smooth operation of these systems, providing technical support, and handling interface management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the internal application system used for crew accommodation bookings and billing.
- Ensure the integration of the system with SAP for accurate invoicing and payment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the automatic import of invoices into SAP, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Correct problems or escalate them to appropriate teams as necessary.
- Work closely with the internal SAP team to resolve any technical issues or bugs.
- Provide support for interface management between various systems.
- Respond to tickets submitted via email or ticketing systems
- Collaborate with service desk colleagues, particularly L2, to resolve application-related issues.
- Maintain and manage access permissions through Microsoft AD and access management tools.
- Utilize basic SQL knowledge for troubleshooting and queries as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business IT or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in application support or system management.
- Basic understanding of SAP (preferred).
- Familiarity with ticketing systems.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and Microsoft AD.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
