If you have 2-3 years of GL accounting/analyst experience and are looking for a new challenge, this opportunity is for you. We are looking for a GL Analyst to our multinational partner located in Budapest.

In this role you will perform reporting and closing activities in cooperation with cross-functional departments.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that tasks are completed in accordance with requirements
• Coordinates and manages collaboration with cross-functional departments
• Apply technical accounting knowledge, Excel skills, and General Ledger skills to resolve problems, identify improvement opportunities
• Create monthly GL account reconciliations 
• Participates in closing of accounting period, reporting and financial report creation 
• Provide support for ongoing audit requirements 

What makes you the best candidate:

• 2-3 years of experience in GL Accountant/Analyst role
• Bachelor degree in finance and accounting
• Work experience in the SSC sector is a plus
• Fluent English skills
• Strong MS Office knowledge
• Good analytical & problem-solving skills
• Process oriented, structured approach
• Strong stakeholder management skills
