We are looking for a Senior Accounting Process and Data Specialist colleague to join our international partner's team in Budapest, who would like to participate in exciting process development and transition projects. If you have strong accounting skills, but also experience in ERP systems and finance data management, then this is the place for you!

What tasks can you expect on a daily basis?

-         Oversee how account master data are structured in the general ledger

-         Oversee the operation of the chart of accounts

-         Monitor the general ledger account type function in the general ledger master data

-         Ensure data consistency and compliance

-         Develop data governance policies, procedures and best practise

-         Analyze and improve system performance

-         Lead assigned projects and be the key team member in the transition

Requirements:

-         Proficiency in English

-         Bachelor’s degree in economics (preferably in accounting)

-         Strong knowledge of general ledger processes and accounting standards (US GAAP/IFRS)

-         3-5 years of experience in a relevant role (GL Accounting, ERP System Maintenance, Master Data Management)

-         Proficiency in ERP systems and data analytics tools

-         Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to present infromation to them

-         Project management experience would be a huge plus
