We are searching for a Greek speaking AP Accountant for our client’s team in Budapest. The role is to complete payments and control expenses by receiving payments, plus processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. As an Accounts Payable Accountant you will be also resposnsible for the day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the transition of invoice processing and accounting functions
  • Managing vendor accounts, keeping internal database up-to-date
  • Handling and accounting incoming/outgoing invoices
  • Creating payment proposals
  • Keep contact with other departments, stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Act as a main contact point for arising issues


Requirements:


  • At least 1-2 years of experience in AP accounting or similar finance related roles in a multinational work environment
  • Fluent English and Greek knowledge (and Hungarian would be a huge plus)
  • Be able to work from the Budapest office 2x/week
