Job description

Our multinational company in pharmaceuticals sector is looking for an RTR Team Leader.

In this position you will lead, support and mentor a small team to ensure accurate and timely financial accounting.


The main tasks involve:

  • Manage the period-end and year-end closing 
  • Oversee the accuracy and integrity of financial data and transaction processing
  • Mentor and manage accountants and process specialists reporting to your role
  • Perform accounting processes for your assigned processes, for example query handling, month-end, reconciliations of all balance sheets, fixed assets, or lease accounting
  • Review and approving journals, assisting with technical IFRS accounting issues
  • Support in audit reviews and lead process specialists in addressing escalation


Requirements:

  • Proficincy in English
  • General understanding of finance processes and standards
  • 3-5 years of experience in RTR Accounting
  • Experience in leading small teams
  • University degree in Finance
  • Strong IFRS/ US GAAP knowledge
